Today’s headlines are filled with bad news – Swine Fever killing scores of people in Mexico and spreading internationally; Taliban gaining in their takeover efforts in nuclear armed Pakistan; rising unemployment and deepening world economic crisis; famines, natural disasters, earthquakes, cholera, AIDS and other disease epidemics, and grinding world poverty.
Suffering and bad news is relentless …it’s time we had a break!
So, does Christ’s message carry any future hope …for you?
Well …the good news is that it does, but it is not the typical “turn-off” news you may have heard in the past about Christ.
Most people have heard a message about the life of Jesus …but hardly anyone has actually heard the futuristic message delivered by Jesus.
“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel (good news) of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” (Mark 1:14-15)
·we need to understand the good news and begin preparing for the coming Kingdom of God on this earth, when He returns to rule the world, by establishing His Government here on this planet. (Isaiah 9:6-7);
·we need to repent and turn to God with all our heart, mind …be baptised …and become converted, by developing the mind of Christ in our lives, with the gift of His Holy Spirit within us;
·we need to continue faithfully to believe and live by Christ’s good news message of how we should live by God’s right way of life;
·we need salvation, which can only come through Jesus Christ (Act 4:12) “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
The message is clear …and the rewards are enormous.
Imagine being a son or daughter of God …and being able to help serve Jesus in His Government on this earth?
The real Jesus taught this message and gave His life in place of you and me …so that we might choose to take up the invitation to be in the Family of God.
Many are offered the invitation but few accept the invitation, and do something about it.
“For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:14-19)
Did you notice that?
God the Father is the Head of the Family of God.
God is a Family.
You too can be part of God’s Family.
“Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons (children) of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew Him not.Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as He is pure.” (1John 3:1-3)
Did you realise that?
What is the purpose that God the Father has in mind for you?
What is the purpose of the Gospel of the Kingdom, which was the true message of the real Christ?
Yes! You can be a son or daughter of God …serve in His Kingdom when He establishes His Government on this earth …and live a happy life in His Family for eternity.
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” (2Corinthians 6:17-18)
Did you grasp that?
You can be considered by God …as a son or daughter of God …now.

Here is a copy of a letter I have just sent to one of our outspoken politicians …who still has some backbone …in the hope that he might say something more to alert Australians, in an area of where this Government has us on a self-destruct course.
“Why doesn’t this Australian Government invest our taxpayers money into real capital assets …like, buying what the Chinese want.
For example, why don’t we Australian taxpayers buy a controlling number of shares in OZ Minerals and retain the 2nd biggest zinc mine in the world, Century mine? We could buy the whole shebang for around $1.5billion.
We would then be able to preserve Australian jobs and stop the Chinese Government from nationalising some of our richest turf as part of China.
You know Barnaby, once the Chinese are happily owning a critical mass of Australia’s best resources …they will invoke the 457 Visa, using our own laws …and import their own “skilled labour” coolie workforce at vastly reduced wages.
We could also take a share in Rio Tinto in the same way …rather than spraying borrowed Chinese Bond money all over the world and to criminals. druggies, drinkers and poker machine players.
Then when the Economy picks up again we could sell half our share holdings in these companies and get our money back …as well as retaining our other half of shares and collecting dividends for us Taxpayers.
Why isn’t any politician suggesting some sensible investments of our hard won taxpayers money??
Today, our Diggers, on Anzac Day, figuratively must be moaning and groaning in their graves …to see how our beloved Australia is stealthily being invaded and taken over, piece by valuable resource-rich piece …and how cheaply their sacrifice, paid with their own blood, is being sold for less than a bowl of soup!
Why isn’t someone saying these things in Parliament?”
You know, we need a biblical Joseph or Daniel in charge of Australia, now, more than in any time in our history.

It has been mind blowing to see how this current Australian Government have taken us …in just 18 months …from $20 billion surplus and $60 billion in future fund …to scores of $billions into the red.
Now their blithering ‘enlightened target’ is to have us much more than $200 billion in debt and are claiming on tonight’s news …by lies and deceit …that it is only going to be a “temporary debt”.

Our Government is selling Australia to the Chinese and Japanese at the rate of over $500million in Government Bonds each week.
Why are people so apathetic about the consequences of just this action alone?
Then we have the apathy about the Chinese Government and Japanese interests buying up our best mining and food industry capital assets at an alarming rate …but the majority of our politicians and leaders are asleep at the alarm switch.
We have become conditioned to a false paradigm of eternal safety and security in Australia, thinking we will never be taken over by other foreign powers.
People are living in a dreamlike lah lah land.
We have been lulled into a false sense of security.
Why, we can’t even man our 6 Collins Class submarines. We can only staff 3 of them with overly stressed naval personnel.
Meanwhile China is expanding its submarine fleet bigtime.
Why?
Won’t be long now and Japan will be upgrading and re-arming as well …now that North Korea is giving them the perfect alibi excuse.
…ohh my Country …my wonderful Aussie Country!
I am an average Aussie with a sense of larrikin humour.
But, there is nothing funny about the mismanagement of our wonderfully blessed Australia.
We desperately need a Joseph or a Daniel, to handle our economy wisely and invest in capital assets, instead of letting other nations like the Chinese nationalise Australia for themselves.
Our Government should be buying Oz Minerals …not the Chinese Government.
We should be buying the power share of ownership of Rio Tinto …not the Chinese Government.
The borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22;7; Deuteronomy 28:44-45)
The biblical prophecies are steadily coming home to roost for Australia.
He who has “withheld” in the past is lifting His protection and is “withholding no longer” (2 Thessalonians 2:6-7).
Christ’s warning about the end-time rulership of the “times of the Gentiles”, is rapidly developing before our very eyes …for those who have eyes to see. (Luke 21:24)
At dawn this coming Saturday, 25 April many Australian’s will stop, to remember generations of our brave soldiers …men and women …who sacrificed their lives or put their lives on the line for Australia.
Australians such as my wife’s Grandfather, Hubert, served in the Boer War in South Africa, in 1900. Her father, Robert, served in the worst wars in all history, both the 1st World War and the 2nd World War.

My Grandfather, Charles, also served in World War 1.It was reputed to be such a dreadful traumatic war that it was declared to be: “The War to end all wars” (Woodrow Wilson, President USA).
Well, in actual fact through the horrific wars of the 20th Century more than 102,000 Australian servicemen and women died in war. This 2009 year will be the 95th anniversary of the beginning of World War I.
Insanely, despite the mass casualties suffered in World War I and World War II, the world remains in conflict today.
“Wars and rumours of wars” (Matthew 24:6) continue to rage, and the innocent continue suffer death and maiming, causing us all to ask: “Is war our permanent condition?”
Is it necessary for every generation go through war to relearn why there should be no war?
For everyone who has died tragically in war, there is a very personal story, of a family changed forever.
What is the cause of War?For every effect there is a spiritual cause.
James 4:1-2 gives us the cause of why we have war?
“From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
You lust, and have not: you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: you fight and war, yet you have not, because you ask not.”
Notice that is our own human nature of lust, vanity, jealousy and greed that leads people into war.
Yes, the 1st World War 1914-1918 was supposed to be the “War to end all wars” …but was it?

So let’s ask ourselves a question?
Does the Bible speak of a war to end all wars?
Well, it may serve as a surprise to many who read this, but …yes it does.
There is coming a War to end all wars …and the combatants in this war, would surprise most people …especially the well-informed in matters of news and geopolitics.
Why is Australia in Pakistan fighting against the Taliban and al Qaeda terrorists?
How did we get embroiled into this mess in the first place? We have now lost 10 of our very brave, courageous, dedicated soldiers in this conflict and are sadly likely to lose more.

Why aren’t national leaders telling us the clear unmistakable truth of why we are in Pakistan?
Here is the simple, clear, unadulterated reason why!!

“The NRDC’s and the Carnegie Foundation‘s estimates of approximately 50 weapons are from 2002–03 estimations. In 2000, US Military intelligence estimated that Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal may be as large as 100 warheads”
If the Taliban once again gain control of Afghanistan and use it as a base to overtake Pakistan as well, they will gain possession of over 100 nuclear Pakistani Bombs and also the sophisticated rocketry to deliver them.
So, if people think that 9/11 was terrifying …think for a moment what new “World Order” phase the world would be in if the Taliban gained possession of Pakistan and its 100+ nuclear bombs???
“Impossible! Improbable! Unthinkable!Unimaginable! Surely not!!”…I hear you say.
Well surprise, surprise! …Not.
Senior American general, Head of US Central Command, David Petraes told a US Senate hearing, today: “The extremists that have established sanctuaries in the rugged border areas not only contribute to the deterioration of security in eastern, southern, Afghanistan.
“They also pose an ever more serious threat to Pakistan’s very existence.”
So …now we understand why we are in Afghanistan. It is to try to counteract the Taliban and Al Qaeda from gaining control of Pakistan and its arsenal of 100+ nuclear Bombs.
So …is there a better way to handle the situation in Afghanistan?
Does the Bible indicate some wisdom that could be applied to avoiding this impending disaster?
There is a spiritual cause for every physical effect.
The problem is that the Western powers including NATO, USA, Britain, and Australia are treating the effect in Pakistan and not dealing with the cause.
No one likes to be involved in a war …but if we are going to be in a war, then we should apply all the proper tools at our disposal to win the war.
We need to deal with both the cause and the effect.To beat an enemy we need to look at their weaknesses. For example, neither the Taliban nor Al Qaeda can fight a war without heaps and heaps of money, right?
So, where do the Taliban get their money from?The opium poppy crops, right? Yes.
If we are ever going to beat the Taliban, we have to take them out at the knees …we have to take away their money supply from the opium drug trade. Many years ago the Church of God involved itself in a very effective programme in Thailand to change the spirit of growing Opium to the spirit of growing fruit and vegetable crops instead.It has been a change for the better, to this day.
How did we do that? Well we sent our agri-business and volunteer helpers to re-educate the opium farmers to rip out their opium poppies and to grow potatoes, carrots, vegetables and fruit trees.
We also introduced literacy and positive education programmes for the young.
Gradually the spirit changed to a new culture of a more stable economy and more balanced society.
To win the war in Afghanistan there has to be a change in the spirit if we are going to save the flesh.
There needs to be a change from the way of selfish hatred to the way of outgoing selfless love.
The way of give and not the way of get.
The way of peace and not of war.
Mind you …the good news is that Jesus Christ is returning to this world, to establish His Government on this Earth for 1,000 years!Satan is going to be displaced as the current world mind controller and war mongerer.
When Christ returns the 1st Resurrection of the faithful dead and living takes place. (Revelation 24:4-6; and 1 Thessalonians 4:16)
We have an opportunity now to accept Christ’s calling invitation and to be in God’s family for eternity. (Daniel 7:18)
We will then help in bringing about a full change in the spirit that will not only save all flesh, but humans will have peace, harmony, and prosperity …with never any fear of war, disease or pestilence.
Australia was once the “Lucky Country” and now it is going from Prince to Pauper.
Our richest companies and mines are yours and my God given inheritance.
Now we are selling our birthright for less than a bowl of soup.
In less than 18 months Australia has gone from having reserves of $20 billion and $60 billion in the Future Fund …to begging for loans from China to pay for the $42 billion stimulus package.
Now the government is seeking $200 billion in loans via Government bonds.
That means you and I and our children are going to have a huge $200 billion debt to pay off.
But guess who is buying up our Government Bonds?
China has stepped up its invasion of Australia. It is buying $400 million in Government bonds per week. It is secretly helping to bankroll the Government’s “$42 billion stimulus package” as Friday’s Brisbane Courier Mail pointed out.
“No nation makes a greater espionage effort directed at Australian military and commercial technology than does China”, says Greg Sheridan in this Weekend Australian,
We need to wake up that we are being handcuffed to China politically and financially.
The Weekend Australian has also highlighted how our Government is entangled in Chinese relationships and is becoming a pawn of the Chinese Politburo.
Why is this happening to us? Why are things suddenly going wrong in Australia?
Jesus Christ warned that before the time of the End, prior to His return to this Earth, there would be a change in the World Order.
Jesus spoke of this being “the times of the Gentiles”. Luke 21:24:
“And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations:
and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be
fulfilled.”
There is coming a time of Great Tribulation on the Earth and our nation is going into captivity at the hands of the Chinese and Japanese.
One third of our modern Anglo-Saxon Israelite nations are going to die in war. One third are going to die from disease and pestilence …and one third are going to go into captivity or be scattered in hiding.
“A third part of you shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of you: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about you; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.” (Ezekiel 5:12)
Australia is identified as the “land of Sinim” in Isaiah 49:12:
“Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.
Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.” (Isaiah 49:12-13)
Yes, God is going to allow Australia to be overtaken by the Gentile powers of China and Japan, because we have sinned grossly against God and His commandments.
But for you and me there is a way to escape the Tribulation to come.
Ultimately, the good news is that God is going to deliver us out of Tribulation and bondage, when Jesus Christ returns to establish His Government upon this earth.
Meantime, we need to be seeking God while He may be found as we read in Isaiah 55:6-7:
“Seek you the LORD while He may be found, call you upon Him while He is near:
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” (Isaiah 55:6-7)

Ultimately, it is God …who by His kindness and grace …will choose to resurrect us (1 Thessalonians 4:16) to eternal life in His Family (Ephesians 3:14-15) as Sons and Daughters of God (2 Corinthians 6:17-18) …when Jesus Christ returns to establish His Government and Kingdom on this Earth.
We can begin to be a Son or Daughter of God, now, in this life (1 John 3-14) if we will only seek God now, “while He may be found” (Isaiah 55:6-8).

“Time’s up!” proclaimed the headline in the Weekend Australian Financial Review, 21 Feb 2009, p19. “China’s arrival on the corporate scene brings some unprecedented challenges. Chinese investors want board seats, if not direct control. It’s all happening so fast.”
Yes, when I wrote my previous blog “Invasion of Australia Begins” a questioner asked me: “So, what if Chinese investors, want to buy into our richest Australian companies and own some of our best mines. Haven’t we always had overseas investment from Britain, Japan and America? What does it matter if the Chinese come too?”
The big difference with Chinese investment is that it is not just some ‘private companies’ buying our assets, but it is the Chinese Government itself, buying big chunks of Australia, as well as railway lines and ports, from their huge cash reserves and strong Chinese Yuan. China does not have a history of being a national Ally of Australia, as say, Britain or America.
When a nation such as China owns our ‘turf’ it has its own ready made foothold on our neck.
“Most of the (Chinese) money is coming from companies with ownership structures that can be quickly traced back to the impassive walls of the government complex in Beijing. This is the first time Australia has been dependent on money from a country that has not been a close security ally.” (ibid)
Amazingly, our Prime Minister, who is visiting US President Barack Hussein Obama, at present, is making more statements about how we need Chinese money to deliver us from going into a deep Recession/Depression.
It is one thing for the Australian Government to deal with foreign companies …but it is quite another very difficult thing to try to control another Nation like China buying up Australian turf and our richest strategic mines, full of the best iron ore, coal, copper, zinc and precious metals. How will we stand against that?
“China’s stock of investment was only $3.6 billion in 2005 compared with $51 billion for Japan and $300 billion for the USA. But with foreign investment applications of about $10 billion over the following two years, possibly up to $30 billion last year and now as much as that again in a week, has the fourth wave (China) now become an irresistible force?” (ibid)
Japanese companies are also making bigger forays into ownership of Australia’s best companies, taking advantage of the world financial crisis, with the advantage of the strong Yen, to snap up Australia’s National Foods (Pura Milk, Berri juices, King Island Cheese, etc,) and Dairy Farmers. Kirin, the Japanese takeover company also has a 46% shareholding of Lion Nathan (Tooheys, XXXX, and West End beers).
Meanwhile Japan’s Asahi Beverages has grabbed ownership of Schweppes Australia (Pepsi (licence), Cottees, Solo, Gatorade, and Spring Valley). Japanese Suntory has taken over Frucor (Just Juice, Fresh Up, Baby foods, V drink, Mizone, and Pepsi (licence)).
What is significant about the Japanese investment is that it is being stepped up a notch, at a time when Japan and China, in 2008, have signed a Consular Agreement to co-operate together in economic, trade, social and political spheres.
Jesus prophesied these days that we are currently beginning to experience in Australia and New Zealand as “the times of the Gentiles”:
“And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” (Luke 21:24)
If you haven’t noticed already, our modern day Israelite-Anglo-Saxon nations of Australia, Britain, Canada, New Zealand and USA are going into rapid decline and mounting insurmountable national debt.
Meantime, the Gentile nations spoken of in the Bible are beginning to emerge, and are burgeoning into power.
A change of the World Order is occurring before our eyes. Our modern Israelite nations are being rapidly overtaken by the modern Gentile nations of the world.
Why is this happening to our nation of Australia?
Where can you turn for the good news of how Australians can avoid the tragedy ahead?
In a nutshell …here is the reason why Australia is entering the prophesied time of “Jacob’s trouble”:
“Because you served not the LORD your God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;
Therefore shall you serve your enemies which the LORD shall send against you, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon your neck, until he has destroyed you.
The LORD shall bring a nation against you from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies; a nation whose tongue you shall not understand;
A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favour to the young:
And he shall eat the fruit of your cattle, and the fruit of your land, until you be destroyed: which also shall not leave you either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of your kine, or flocks of your sheep, until he has destroyed you.” (Deuteronomy 28:47-51)
Down-under Australia (‘Sinim’ Isaiah 49:12) will rise-above the ‘Great Tribulation’ that it will experience, but not before our people repent of their sins, which is “the transgression of God’s law” (1 John 3:4).
So, why will a Chinese-Japanese national consortium takeover Australia? Why are we receiving wave after wave of troubles in Australia? Why hasn’t God intervened in the dual horrific bushfires and floods disasters, debilitating our Nation at the same time?
“Say unto them, As I live, says the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn you, turn you from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel?” (Ezekiel 33:11)
It is time for our nation to heed God and to repent of our sins, nationally and personally.
The battle for Australians to keep ownership of Australia has begun.
Sadly, most Australians are oblivious to what is happening and are more concerned about the recent erratic form of the Australian cricket team than the silent invasion now taking place.
China has taken a leaf out of Greek military annals and has delivered a ‘Trojan Horse’ to Australia. It has opened the hatch and has begun its takeover …not by means of the bullet …not even by a phone call …but by simply waving its Yuan (wand).
“Australians have long accepted that many of our big, familiar companies are owned, or at least controlled, by firms based in London or in New York. Now we need to get used to the idea that a growing number will be run from Beijing. China’s new great leap is happening right now. Here, in Australia.” (China Digs In, The Australian 19/2/2009)
For many years now, the Church of God has been warning about a future alliance of China and Japan, that will eventually move in on Australia, while the other modern Israelite-Anglo-Saxon nations of Britain, Canada and the USA are overtaken by the upcoming European “Beast” Power bloc of nations.
Speaking about the future rise of the Russian-Chinese-Japanese “Gog and Magog” end-time colossus prophesied in Ezekiel 38 and Ezekiel 39, the February 1963, Plain Truth magazine of the Church, stated: “There is an utter inevitability of the ultimate tie-up between Japan and Red China! The big question is how long China will remain “Red” and survive without a tie up with Japanese capitalism” (Plain Truth, February 1963, p.29)

Not so today! Last year in 2008 China and Japan signed a Consular Agreement to combine more closely on matters of trade, social, and political interchange. They have even agreed to drop their age old differences and mutually drill and share in the vast natural gas reserves, in the East China Sea.
“Japan and China agreed to jointly develop a disputed natural gas field and cooperate in exploration in the East China Sea, ending a four-year argument between Asia’s biggest energy consumers over who owns the reserves.” (Bloomberg 18 June 2008)
Now the Chinese are taking advantage of the Global Financial Crisis to snap up ownership of the best of Australia’s mining companies and mines.
Last year with the help of Japanese business people, China, via its sovereign company Sinosteel bought the Australian mid-sized iron ore company in Western Australia, Midwest Corp.
Now Chinese Government owned, Minmetals, has made an offer to buy out the second biggest zinc miner in the world …none other than Australia’s Oz Minerals. The Australian Government and Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) are in a sweaty hands quandry, and have announced a 90 day stalling of time to make their decision to allow or not allow the Chinese to own our richest zinc, silver, and copper mines.
Today, Huan Valin Corp is in further negotiations to gain a larger stake, if not to takeover one of Australia’s largest iron ore companies Fortescue Metals Group, which also has its own railway line and port facilities in Western Australia.
Very recently Chinese sovereign-owned company Chinalco moved on one of the biggest miners in the world, Rio Tinto, which is in dire need of fresh $capital injection. It is likely to own an 18% slice of Rio Tinto and have 2 Chinese representatives on the Rio Tinto Board of management.
Can you imagine the Board of Rio Tinto meeting to discuss their commodities pricing policy for China …with 2 Chinese politburo Government Board members listening in and influencing their pricing policy?
Here’s a few other recent purchases in Australia, the Chinese have achieved:
China Petrochemical Corporation which is China’s biggest energy distributor secured 60% and control of the Puffin oil field in the Timor Sea from the struggling AED Oil in 2008. The deal values the assets at $1 billion.
Shanghai Baosteel Group owns 46% of the Rio Tinto-operated Eastern Range iron ore mine in Pilbara which produces 6.5 million tonnes a year worth more than $500 million a year. Chinese investment now worth more than $1 billion.
Shougang Corp spent $400 million buying 20% of WA iron ore company Mt Gibson Iron in early 2008. This Chinese steel group also spent $56 million in March 2007 buying 13% or iron ore developer Australian Resources and agreed to fund $US2.1 billion development of the Balmoral South project and associated port project in WA
5 Chinese companies in a Consortium were given Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) approval in January 2008 to develop the $3 billion Oakajee port and rail project in Western Australia.
Anshan Iron & Steel paid $39 million in September 2007 for 13% of iron ore miner Gindalbie and signed $1.8 billion joint venture deal.
China Metallurgical Group paid $400 million for the Cape Lambert Iron ore project in WA in 2008.
Resource Development International headed by Gold Coast-based Clive Palmer who still claims to be worth more than $5 billion was hoping to raise more than $1 billion from Chinese investors through a float of this iron ore venture that is still to get off the ground.
Zhongjin, China’s third largest zinc producer paid $45 million to take control of Broken Hill-based Perilya in early 2009.
Can we begin to grasp the seriousness of the consequences to Australia if Chinese and Japanese interests gain further footholds on our nation?
Once these nations gain ownership of Australia’s choicest mines, they will likely manoeuvre to invoke the 457 skilled workers visa …and import their own Chinese workers on much lower contract rates of pay to work the mines.
The Australian Government has recently frittered away much of its reserves and is now busy about raising loans totalling $42 billion via bonds, which it will no doubt be expecting the Chinese government to buy.
Can we begin to see that the Australian government has unwittingly placed itself between a rock and a hard place.
With one hand raised in a stop position the Government wants to try to restrain the Chinese takeover of our richest and best resources …and with the other hand it is going to have to hold it out to the Chinese Government to beg them for money to please buy Australian Government bonds …to make up the $42 billion in loans it now desperately needs.
The Bible has much to say about why we are getting ourselves into a mess.
